Sunday, September 15th 3 p.m.

John continues to feel somewhat stronger with each passing day. He believes his swallowing is at about 85% of normal. There is extremely little change with the other symptoms since last Sunday.

He is keeping very busy answering emails, reading and writing. He spent some quality time with his Dad last week and even got out for some sushi. Some of the guys from work brought him a wooden ship model and he's enjoying building it. He still has lots of doctors' appointments and it will still be some time before he is cleared to drive again.

We've been to church a couple of times, the market and out to dinner but John still tires easily. He's entertained a few visitors, including his buddies from the Station, some friends from his Neighborhood Watch area and his 11th grade history teacher who is also now in law enforcement. They had a great time reminiscing together.

Thanks to everyone for the flowers, cards and Johns would say "especially the visits and baked goods." Don't forget to keep us in your prayers!
